The Breast Cancer Institute
of Australia (BCIA) is the fundraising department of the Australia and New
Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group (ANZBCTG) which conducts Australia's only
independent breast cancer clinical trials research program. For more than 35
years, the ANZBCTG has played a critical role in saving lives by identifying
safe and effective new breast cancer treatments and prevention strategies
through clinical trials research.
The national BCIA
management team is now seeking an energetic and experienced Community
Fundraising Manager to join them. Reporting
to the BCIA General Manager and collaborating with the fundraising team, you
will be responsible for managing the Community Fundraising Program. This will include multi-channel donor
acquisition, national events including peer to peer activities, and marketing
and communications for key campaigns such as The Australian Women's Health
With a proven track
record in traditional and digital direct marketing and customer or supporter
acquisition, you are in a similar role in a charity or in the commercial sector
and have a track record driving direct marketing programs in a fundraising,
membership or customer environment.
Your creative and
analytical thinking, combined with meticulous attention to detail and the
ability to manage multiple programs will ensure your success in this role.
