The National Gallery
of Australia (NGA) is seeking a highly skilled Development Manager who will
play a key role in contributing towards the NGA’s exciting and ambitious
fundraising program. Leading a small and focused team, you will cultivate major
gifts, and steward a portfolio of major donors and corporate givers.
Serving as an
ambassador for the NGA, you will also initiate, secure and develop strategic
philanthropic and/or corporate relationships in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
The National Gallery of Australia (NGA) is the home of the nation’s art collection worth approximately $6B AUD. The collection includes more than 160,000 works of art and the NGA attracts more than 860,000 visitors
to Canberra each year.
The NGA has an extensive exhibitions program that includes travelling exhibitions across Australia and internationally. It has the largest collection of Indigenous art
in the world and deep collections in major international and Australian art movements. The organisation has a staff of approximately 250 people who are deeply committed and passionate to developing great art and culture experiences for everyone.
