Welcoming, collaborative, enterprising and provocative, the Design Museum is a global destination for contemporary design and creation.
As the world's leading museum devoted to contemporary design in every form, from architecture and fashion to graphics, product and industrial design, the Design Museum opened its doors to an incredible new space in Kensington, in late 2016. The move from their former home in Shad Thames has tripled their exhibition space and allowed the opening of a permanent free display alongside two temporary exhibitions. In the first 12 weeks of opening, the Museum welcomed 250,000 visitors.
To capitalise on this extremely successful move, the Museum is looking for a Head of Corporate Development to work closely with the Development Director in creating and implementing strategies to develop high value, sector-leading partnerships with corporate partners for the Design Museum programmes, through sponsorship, strategic partnerships and corporate events.
Critical to your success in this role will be your proven track record of success in delivering corporate fundraising income against demanding targets, and in leading a high-performing team. Strategic and proactive, you have strong commercial acumen and the ability to work with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You are entrepreneurially minded, and seek and act upon new opportunities. If you’d like to work at the most exciting museum in London at a significant point in their history, we’d like to hear from you.
