The Commonland team is made up of doers, not dreamers.  Together with their partners, including the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, they are committed to transforming 100 million hectares of degraded land through their unique and tested landscape restoration framework, by 2040. That’s an area twice the size of Spain – ambitious, but with the right partners and focus, they are confident that they can achieve this.  To help progress their vision and mission, we are seeking a Major Gifts Fundraiser to join their team and play a key role in engaging philanthropic support for Commonland’s work across landscape restoration and knowledge exchange initiatives.

Working closely with the Donor Relations Manager, Director of Development & Communications, CEO and colleagues across Commonland, you will bring a demonstrable track record in identifying and cultivating prospective supporters and raising philanthropic gifts for key initiatives.  You have successfully nurtured a portfolio of prospects and donors, and enjoy developing creative engagement strategies. A confident communicator and relationship builder, you also produce written proposals to a high standard.
