HKIS’s two campuses are situated on the south of Hong Kong Island; with the Lower and Upper Primary Schools located in Repulse Bay, and the Middle and High Schools in Tai Tam. Together, they form one school community serving a student body of nearly 3,000 from Reception One (pre-kindergarten) to Grade 12 students from around the world who seek an American college-preparatory education.

HKIS values the involvement of its students, families, and alumni and is thankful for the enthusiasm of those who participate with gifts of time, energy and resources. The support provided by these individuals strengthens the school’s mission of dedicating minds to inquiry, hearts to compassion and lives to service and global understanding. Philanthropy has created a positive change and donors are the change agents.

This is a unique opportunity to join HKIS’s Advancement team as the Director of Development, playing a pivotal role in advancing the school’s aspirations. In close collaboration with the senior leadership team, you will lead and oversee all activities related to identifying, engaging, soliciting, and stewarding major gift donors.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in major gift fundraising, possess experience working with key volunteers, and exhibit the ability to thrive in a collaborative and team-oriented environment. Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly valued.

We are delighted to be supporting Hong Kong International School in their search for Director of Development.

If you believe in contributing to the vision of Hong Kong International School, we invite you to get in touch to have a chat with us or send in your application.
