The Director Development is responsible for leading the philanthropy program at QUT with strategic input into the Advancement strategy. This role leads a team of fundraisers and is responsible for developing a high performance team to deliver on the philanthropic priorities – QUT Learning Potential Fund, Health and Wellness, Entrepreneurship, Environment and Indigenous – over the next three years.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Advancement, the Director Development works closely with the Director Alumni and is a member of the senior management team.

To be successful in this role, you will have proven major and principal gift fundraising experience combined with the ability to develop proposals and create innovative cultivation and solicitation strategies.  Team leadership skills combined with your ability to think laterally are also essential. 

Candidates with transferable skills gained within a business development and/or relationship management role are also encouraged to apply.
