Philanthropy Relationship Manager
Salary: HEW 8 $122,640–$139,674 plus 17% superannuation
The Philanthropy Relationship Manager is part of the Trusts and Foundations team within the Philanthropy Team, who build meaningful partnerships with trusts, foundations, private ancillary funds (PAFs) and other philanthropic organisations seeking to create positive change through UTS. Using a donor-centred and institutionally aligned approach, this role identifies, cultivates and stewards current and prospective donors, connecting their philanthropic ambitions with the strengths and capabilities of the university with a focus on trusts, foundations, and structured giving.
Reporting to the Senior Philanthropy Manager, Trusts & Foundations, and serving as a key representative of the university’s philanthropic priorities, the role builds and manages complex stakeholder relationships across UTS leadership, academics, philanthropic organisations and donors. It requires the ability to align donor interests with institutional goals, lead collaborative engagement, negotiate philanthropic support and contribute to strategic fundraising initiatives that advance UTS’s mission and deliver lasting impact.
The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating granting pathways and skilled at building trusted relationships across a complex system of stakeholders to align UTS’s vision with donor aspirations.
Candidates should be enthusiastic about creating impactful partnerships with trusts and foundations as part of a team dedicated to evolving and responding to a dynamic university landscape.
