Job Details
Hong Kong International School (HKIS) was founded in 1966 by a group of American business professionals and the Lutheran Church. The school has served a growing and dynamic community for over 50 years.
The Vision of HKIS is that the school will be a leading place of learning that inspires a socially engaged community of collaborative, creative and resilient learners dedicated to realizing their full potential.
HKIS’s two campuses are situated on the south of Hong Kong Island; with the Lower and Upper Primary Schools located in Repulse Bay, and the Middle and High Schools in Tai Tam. Together, they form one school community serving a student body of nearly 3,000 from Reception One (pre-kindergarten) to Grade 12 students from around the world who seek an American college-preparatory education.
HKIS values the involvement of its students, families, and alumni and is thankful for the enthusiasm of those who participate with gifts of time, energy and resources. The support provided by these individuals strengthens the school’s mission of dedicating minds to inquiry, hearts to compassion and lives to service and global understanding. Philanthropy has created a positive change and donors are the change agents.
Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, you will bring your creativity to design, implement and manage all aspects of the Annual Giving program to ensure fundraising and participation goals are met. With a proven track record of developing, running and continuously improving an annual giving program based around email solicitation and parent and alumni engagement, you enjoy pulling together highly targeted appeal lists and using data to support your activities.
Although not essential, fluency in written and spoken Mandarin and/or Cantonese will be highly regarded.
We are delighted to be supporting Hong Kong International School in their search for an Annual Fund Manager.
If you believe in contributing to the vision of Hong Kong International School, we invite you to get in touch to have a chat with us or send in your application.
