Job Details
Founded in 1901 by Lilian and Margaret Irving, Lauriston Girls’ School (Lauriston) was built on a bold and progressive belief in girls’ education.
More than 125 years on, Lauriston continues to honour its founders’ vision by offering an environment where innovation, professionalism and care sit at the heart of everything they do.
As the Council and recently appointed Principal Sabine Partington embark on a new Strategic Intent for the School, the need to shape how Lauriston is understood, chosen and advocated for has never been more important.
They now seek a Head of Community Relations and Experience who will report to the Principal and serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. This role provides strategic leadership across admissions and enrolment, marketing and communications, advancement, alumnae engagement and events, strengthening the School’s value proposition, enrolment demand, reputation and philanthropic capacity.
The successful candidate will bring strategic leadership experience ideally across all facets of the Community Relations portfolio, with the judgement to set direction and the confidence to lead through influence. You will have highly developed stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across executive leadership and governance bodies, families, alumnae and donors. Central to success will be your capacity to lead and align the community relations team, deliver on strategic priorities, and build a high-performing, collaborative culture.
