£63,911 - £71,343 pa
Closing 23/05/2025

The Royal College of Music (RCM) stands at the forefront of global music education and performance.

Recently ranked the world’s top institution for performing arts for the 4th consecutive year, RCM is home to an extraordinary community of artists, educators, scientists, technologists, and supporters united by a shared belief in music’s power to transform lives and society

As the RCM look to the future, philanthropy and partnerships will play a vital role in delivering their mission and ambitious plans, and we’re looking for a senior fundraising leader  to join them as Head of Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships.

This is a newly reimagined role, designed to help lead the strategic development and management of a comprehensive supporter engagement programme at the RCM which engages and motivates donors, corporate partners and other key stakeholders and ultimately increases philanthropic income for the College.  This is a pivotal leadership role and we are seeking a strategic, confident and relationship-focussed fundraising practitioner to inspire a talented team and drive forward a step-change in giving to the RCM.

Reporting to the Director of Development and working closely with senior stakeholders across the College, you will lead the design and delivery of fundraising strategies across all levels of giving, and galvanise a team, supporting their growth and success.  Your proven major gifts fundraising experience, alongside your collaborative nature and creativity, will shine through and help you to establish trust and deliver results.  Your natural ability to connect, engage, and motivate others around a shared vision will be key, as is your talent for identifying donor opportunities and translating them into long-term impact.  Previous experience of working within philanthropic campaigns is essential, and it would be highly advantageous if you have worked with donors internationally.

In return, you’ll join an ambitious, committed and collaborative team at a world-renowned institution at a defining moment in its journey. With a diverse student body, ambitious goals, and a growing global reach, there has never been a more exciting time to be part of the RCM.

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS IS 9AM ON FRIDAY, 23 MAY 2025
