The Philanthropy Relationship Manager is part of a team of relationship focused fundraisers playing a strategic leadership role in building meaningful partnerships with philanthropic individuals and organisations who are seeking to make a difference in the world through their generosity and UTS. Using a donor centred and institutionally aligned approach, this position builds long-term relationships with UTS by identifying and engaging current and potential donors through strategic engagement plans and relationship management resulting in significant philanthropic support for education, research, and programs.
Reporting to the Director, Philanthropy and operating as a key representative of the university’s philanthropic priorities, the role builds and manages complex stakeholder relationships across UTS leadership, academics, researchers, alumni, philanthropic organisations, donors, and volunteers. It requires the ability to align donor interests with institutional goals, lead collaborative engagement efforts, negotiate philanthropic support and outcomes, and contribute to the development of strategic fundraising initiatives that advance UTS’s mission and deliver impact.

This position is being advertised internally and externally concurrently. In accordance with UTS policy, priority consideration will be given to suitably qualified redeployment candidates, while applications are also welcomed from experienced fundraisers in the external market.
