We are delighted to announce that Alan Paberzs will be joining the The University of Queensland as the inaugural Chief Philanthropy Officer.
Alan will be joining UQ from DePaul University in Chicago where he was the Executive Director of Development for the College of Law. In this leadership role, he strengthened the law school’s annual and long-term fundraising efforts, secured multiple six- and seven-figure commitments, and worked closely with senior leaders and high-level volunteers to design and execute the law school’s campaign strategy and goals.
Outside of the office, Alan has made it a priority to give back to the profession, serving on the board of the Chicago Council on Planned Giving since 2019 and as its President since 2023.
Alan is excited to join the team at UQ to advance the University’s mission and to support the work of its talented Advancement team to help meet and exceed its ambitious goals of philanthropic expansion.
