by | 4 Mar 2024

We are delighted to announce that Marina Johnson has been appointed as the new Director of Advancement Presbyterian Ladies’ College – Melbourne.

Marina brings with her extensive experience and demonstrated success leading advancement, marketing and communications, fundraising, and admissions within independent girls’ schools. Her most recent appointment was Director of Advancement at Firbank Grammar, preceded by over a decade at Lauriston Girls’ School.

At Firbank, Marina has combined her strong communication skills and ability to build genuine relationships to re-engage the community and build a culture of philanthropy.

During her tenure at Lauriston, Marina managed the school’s Marketing and Admissions portfolios, before progressing to the Director of Advancement role. Marina’s success was marked by several key strategic outcomes, including raising $3.85M through the It’s Her Turn capital campaign to support the development of a new Sports and Wellbeing Precinct. She was integral to planning and implementing key events and activities to honour Lauriston’s 110th and 120th anniversaries, as well as developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to significantly increase enrolments within local and international markets.

Many congratulations Marina and PLC.
